Welcome to the Eureka Chamber of Commerce, TOURISM section. Located off of Interstate 44, Eureka is a town filled with history and charm. Built in 1858, Eureka became a prosperous village of about 100 homes surrounded by fine fruit and agricultural land. Today, the city includes antique shops,various restaurants, wine shops and unique boutiques.
When visiting the St. Louis area, Eureka is the perfect town to visit as we are within 30 minutes of everywhere: Downtown St. Louis, the Arch, the Airport, State parks, Missouri Wine Country, canoeing, rafting, Six Flags of Mid-America, dozens of Antique and Specialty shops and much more. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the many parks and extraordinary diversity of native plants and animal habitats.
In 2008, Eureka celebrated their Sesquicentennial (150th Anniversary).Today, the city continues to grow residentially and industrially.
